Thank you for shopping with Beads Project. We take great care to ensure every kit and product meets our quality standards. This policy explains your rights under New Zealand law and how we handle returns and refunds.
Our Legal Obligations
Your rights are protected under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). This means that if a product you purchase from us is faulty, damaged, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund — depending on the circumstances.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Please email info@beadsproject.co.nz within 14 days of receiving your parcel.
- Include your order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging.
- Once we verify the problem, we’ll organise a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you.
- If a return is required, we’ll provide return instructions and cover reasonable shipping costs as required under the CGA.
Returns Process

Refunds
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
- Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.
- Refunds include the full purchase amount and any applicable delivery charges if the product was faulty or not as described.
Sale Items
Sale or clearance products are sold “as described” and are still covered by the CGA if they’re faulty. We don’t offer returns or exchanges on sale items unless they are defective or misrepresented.
